Backup of Azure VM into Azure Backup Vault

 

Excited to share that I have completed and implemented Backup of Azure VM into Azure Backup Vault.

 

Azure Backup provides independent and isolated backups to guard against unintended destruction of the data on your VMs. Backups are stored in a Recovery Services vault with built-in management of recovery points. Configuration and scaling are simple, backups are optimized, and you can easily restore as needed. 

 

Here are the steps I followed

 

1. Build One Windows 2019 VM server
2. Created recovery service vault
3. Created the backup policies
4. Configure backup setting for Azure VM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I appreciate K21 Academy’s and Microsoft Azure’s assistance and resources during this deployment. This achievement is in line with our goal of updating and optimizing our backup management procedures for Azure resources.
